White Campbell ducks are really excellent egg layers, they have been known to lay almost daily.  White Campbell ducks do not fly and are a placid breed to keep.  The drakes weigh between 5-5.5 lb and the ducks weigh between 4.5-5lb. These ducks are ideal for the back garden with water to splash in or on a pond.  They are a medium sized, all white duck with orange feet and bills and make fantastic pets.  The White Campbell breed was standardized in the 1950's but was developed by Captain F S Pardoe in 1924.   Hatched from our own stock (Derek and Daphne) we rear these ducks in Surrey.

Aylesbury ducks are good egg layers producing around 30 to 100 eggs per year.  Aylesbury ducks are also bred for the table, weighing in at 10-12.5lb for the drake and 9-11lb for the duck.  As they are a calm breed, they make good pets in your garden with some water to splash in or will enjoy a pond, which they would need for mating, they will rarely fly. Named after the English town of Aylesbury in Buckinhamshire this big farm yard duck was first known during the early 18th century.   Both sexes are pure white with blue eyes and orange legs, their bill is flesh colour although some commercial strains have orange bills.

Aylesbury cross Pekin Ducks are bred for egg production or the table.  These heavy ducks make ideal pets as they are calm in temperament and do not fly.  The looks are very similar to the pure breed Aylesbury ducks being white with orange bills and orange legs.

Khaki Campbell ducks are superb egg layers, they have been known to lay almost daily.   These ducks are ideal for the back garden with water to splash in or on a pond.  They are a medium size duck, the drake weighing between 5-5.5 lb and the duck between 4.5 - 5lb.  They make fantastic pets as they are a placid breed and do not fly.  The Khaki Campbell duck was named as a patriotic gesture during the Boer War when the breed was developed by Mrs Adele Campbell in her orchard in Uley, Gloucestershire in 1901.  We hatch and rear these Khaki Campbell ducks in Surrey so we usually have ducklings and adult ducks available.
