The sun is really shining today and the chickens and ducks are enjoying a little sunbathing!  We now have plenty of hatching eggs from the majority of our pure breed stock and we have our choice of point of lay hybrids available.  Newly hatched chicks are cheeping away in the incubator and we have some older chicks already growing outside.

Most people will find their hens laying less egss at this time of year.  We do still have a wide choice of young hybrids that should come into lay very soon and provide eggs through the winter months.  Breeds include:-  Light Sussex, Marans, Rhode Rocks, Bluebells, Warrens, White Leghorns, Silver Amber and Coral.  Please call to check availability.

As soon as our pure breed chickens and ducks come into lay for the new breeding season and we have checked their fertility, we will be selling their fertilized eggs for hatching.  We are likely to have the following breeds available:-
